TIPS
GENERAL
- We recommend taking a bracket with you when you purchase your wood to test fit.
- When building a table for a specific space, start with the tabletop. Cut it to size and ensure it fits the space perfectly, then build the frame to fit the top.
- Ensure all similar pieces are equal in length so the legs match each other and the horizontal 2x4s match each other, and so on. This will ensure a square table.
WOOD
- Our brackets are tailored for dimensional lumber, the type you typically find at hardware stores. For example, 4x4s actually measure 3.5" x 3.5", and 2x4s are really 1.5" x 3.5".
Assembly
- We recommend assembling the table upside down for easier alignment and construction.
- Our brackets are designed to ensure the structure remains square during construction, but it's always a good idea to check the alignment of your table periodically throughout the assembly process.
